Tobias Hungeberg
Meet our main artist: the danish oil painter, Tobias Hungeberg. Balancing a life as an civil engineer and his passion for art. A detail orientated artist, questioning social norms - now sharing his art and creating inspiring posters!
Inspiration
Tobias draws inspiration from the intricate web of social norms that shape our lives. His art serves as a reflection on the societal expectations that often lead individuals into a relentless rat race, where conformity can come at the expense of personal happiness. Through his pieces, Tobias invites viewers to question these norms and explore the opportunities to create a life independent of society's expectations.
"Through my art, I aim to challenge perceptions and spark conversations about the overlooked aspects of our society." - Tobias Hungeberg
Exhibitions
In 2023, Tobias Hungerberg presented his third and most recent exhibition, "Something That Never Arrives," hosted at Grace Bar in Aarhus. Collaborating with Fabià Claramunt he met during his time in Barcelona, they curated an inspiring experience, challenging the rat-race lifestyle many of us unintentionally strive to live. The impact was profound, resulting in the complete sell-out of all his showcased pieces.
Medium & Style
Tobias Hungeberg expresses his artistic vision through the timeless medium of oil painting. With an eye for detail, he captures the essence of his subjects with precision. He has a thoughtful use of colors, making his art a statement piece for any room. In this picture, creating our popular "HOELESS" poster.
